iReceptor founders Felix Breden and Jamie Scott recently published an overview of the AIRR Community as part of a volume edited by Professor Ramit Mehr in Current Opinion in Systems Biology. Their review, entitled The adaptive immune receptor repertoire community as a model for FAIR stewardship of big immunology data, concentrates on how the AIRR Community handles big data, how this approach can be extended to other types of immunology data, and then highlights how this approach has been applied to data from COVID-19 patients, curated through the AIRR Data Commons (ADC). More information about the AIRR Community can be found here.
