First COVID-19 AIRR-seq study available through iReceptor Gateway

In collaboration with the AIRR Community, we are pleased to announce the first COVID-19 AIRR-seq study available for searching and download through the iReceptor Gateway. 8.9 Million annotated sequences from the paper B cell clonal expansion and convergent antibody responses to SARS-CoV-2 from Nielsen, et al. has been loaded into the AIRR COVID-19 repository. We expect a number of other papers to be added to this repository in the near future.

COVID-19 Ultra Hackathon this weekend!

Members of the iReceptor team are hacking throughout the weekend on a project called “Adaptive ImmunoSeq Repository as part of the ./hackseq-rna virtual COVID-19 Ultra Hackathon. Microsoft and Adaptive Biotechnologies are exploring how the immune system responds to COVID-19 and the 3 day goal is to develop a tool to query the Adaptive ImmunoSeq repository (using their WebAPIs), download data, and convert it to the standard AIRR-seq data formats for Repertoires and Rearrangements.
